New CRSP US Stock & Indexes Database Format

CRSP has enhanced its system with a new Stock & Indexes Flat File Format 2.0 (CIZ). Version 1 (SIZ) is being discontinued and users will need to utilize the new format to continue receiving updated data.

Data Release

December 2024 data will go live in February 2025. This is the last release of datasets produced in the legacy flat file format 1.0 (SIZ).
